Co-Founder of the International Center for Lacanian Psychoanalysis in Slovenia. Member - Assoc. of Psychotherapists of Slovenia, European Assoc. of Psychoanalytic Approaches - Slovenia, Danish Assoc. of Psychotherapists "There is a crack in everything, that's how the light gets in." — Leonard Cohen Are you suffering from anxiety, depression, stress or difficulties in relationships or parenthood? Are you an expat, multilingual, TCK or minority facing life changes, culture shock or issues tied to identity and gender? Are you involved in the arts or in a creative field and concerned with creativity, performance anxiety, motivation or stage fright? An analytic treatment can bring relief from symptoms, improve quality of life, and allow you to make choices with greater freedom, less burdened by the past. Whatever challenges you are facing, I am here to listen. WHAT IS LACANIAN PSYCHOANALYSIS? A therapeutic approach that delves into how language, the unconscious, your desire and personal history shape your inner world and affect your relationships. Rather than seeking to silence symptoms quickly, I listen to what they may be saying in your life. You are invited to speak freely, without censoring yourself and without having to make your experience fit a coherent story. Hesitations, contradictions, memories, dreams and unexpected associations are all welcome. • Speaking freely — nothing has to be prepared, justified or made coherent first. • Your own words — the work follows what you say, not a protocol fixed in advance. • The symptom taken seriously — what troubles you carries a message, it is not noise to be removed. • A variable rhythm — frequency and length of sessions follow the treatment rather than a timetable. • No promised endpoint — an analysis lasts as long as it is doing something, and you are the one who knows when that is. "A psychoanalysis consists in speaking freely, in not hushing the ideas that go through your head. Little by little, from within your own words, another meaning forms and surprises you, then falls apart, taking the pain with it." — Jacques-Alain Miller TRAINING AND PRACTICE I trained in three countries, and my practice runs under continuous supervision. I am bound by the codes of professional ethics of the associations to which I belong; what is said in session stays there. I completed my analytic training at the Sección Clínica de Madrid (NUCEP – Instituto del Campo Freudiano, ELP, AMP-WAP), obtaining in 2023 the Certificate of Clinical Studies. I participate in the work of the New Lacanian School and the World Association of Psychoanalysis, and am Delegate of the Bureau of Das Freudsche Ding – Austria. My writings have appeared in Punto de Fuga. In Ljubljana I founded the International Center for Lacanian Psychoanalysis. I lecture in Theory and Clinic of Lacanian Psychoanalysis and sit on the scientific committee of OMANUT in Rome. As a long-time expat, I am sensitive to the difficulties faced by expats, TCKs and multilingual clients. Informed by a parallel career as a clarinetist — Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center, fourteen years as principal clarinetist of Ensemble MidtVest, founder of the Schackenborg Musikfest, masterclasses at Juilliard, the Manhattan School of Music and the Royal Danish Academy — I also welcome patients whose challenges relate to creativity, whether in the arts or in other fields. Treatment can be carried out in person in Ljubljana or remotely, in English, Italian or Spanish. To arrange a first consultation, you can write to info@iclp.si
